The Storeperson Role 

We are seeking a casual Storeperson to receive, handle and dispatch goods and products coming into, or going out of, stockrooms, store. As a Storeperson you may also be required to work in the catering operations and a knowledge of food and beverage will be highly desirable. In a F & B environment, you may be required to work shifts, including evenings and weekends.

The Kitchen Hand Role

We are also looking for a casual kitchen hand to join our busy kitchen team. You'll be assisting the kitchen team with prepping and cleaning duties, whilst ensuring the smooth delivery of goods to the venue.  If you are motivated, have a strong work ethic, reliable and want to be part of a high functioning team, look no further!

You

  • take delivery of goods and supplies
  • unload goods and scan or check them against order forms
  • inspect incoming goods for damage
  • move goods onto storage shelves or racks
  • stack bulky items in designated areas
  • fill outgoing orders by selecting goods from shelves and checking them off appropriate lists
  • package and send out completed orders to customers
  • keep computer records and paperwork up to date
  • move heavy packages using lifting gear.
  • Data Entry – inputting of invoices and procurement

 

You would need:

  • a good level of physical fitness

  • able to work quickly and methodically
  • good organisational skills
  • good teamwork skills
  • basic computer skills
  • a safety-conscious attitude to your work.
