The role
Based in Sydney, we have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and dedicated Procurement Manager responsible for categories within the Indirect segment.
Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, you will develop and execute tenders across the required tenders on a local and national platform to ensure consistent, reliable supply and financial success across TWG’s Education, Corporate and Retail pillars.
Reporting to the General Manager of Procurement, the Key Responsibilities of this role will include:
- Develop and implement category management strategies to best achieve TWG business objectives.
- Prepare and conduct RFIs, RFPs, ITT’s to procure ‘value for money’ solutions as require by TWG operations.
- Achieve cost savings across multiple procurement categories, as assigned by the GM of Procurement.
- Plan, develop and negotiate the commercial aspects of contracts to deliver required business outcomes and savings.
- Consult with stakeholders to determine business needs and determine the appropriate contracting framework.
- Create and manage files for preferred suppliers, ensuring appropriate communication to the greater business.
- Assist the business to develop contract management plans, processes and frameworks to manage commercial risks and monitor supplier performance.
- Understanding of current sustainability practices and monitoring group performance against relevant organisational targets.
- Conduct vendor due diligence and provide advice regarding vendor risk management

Do you have?
- 3 years’ experience in a Procurement, Finance or Operational environment
- CIPS Level 4 or higher desirable, though not essential
- Strong proficiency with Excel, Power BI and analytical skills
- Experience with Purchase Plus or relevant P2P systems
- Stakeholder Management Skills
- Strong negotiating and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional multi-tasking skills with the ability to manage multiple end-to-end procurement cycles
- Excellent communication, organisation/time management
- Category experience in F&B, Hospitality and Property services will be beneficial
