The Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Event Coordinator to join the Trippas White Group Sydney team. Reporting to the General Manager – Venue, you will be responsible for coordinating and planning a diverse portfolio of corporate, social and wedding events across our venues.


You will manage the end-to-end coordination process, ensuring every event is delivered in a professional, courteous and seamless manner. This role is client-facing and relationship-driven, requiring strong communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional experiences.


The position is also responsible for developing strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and for the timely handover of detailed event run sheets to Operations teams via participation in weekly planning meetings.


To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in an Event Coordination or similar hospitality/events role
  • Strong client management and relationship-building skills
  • An operational mindset for event planning, supplier coordination, bump-in, event delivery, bump-out and post-event administration
  • High attention to detail with excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple events and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Passion and strong knowledge of quality food, beverage and service
  • Confident and professional communication skills with a warm, proactive approach
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management / CRM software
  • Experience with iVvy and Fedelta (or similar systems) highly regarded
  • Flexibility to work occasional weekends as required
